Tank Tops

So today I was thinking about making some Danger Bear tank tops for the spring and selling them with the tickets for the Knitting Factory on the 30th and such.


Any ideas for a graphic?
Should we stick with the one's we used on the old one or make a new one?

What do you think of this one?

Recodings and Whatnots

We will be recording three new songs this Saturday. woot!

1) Beneath

2) Crippled Heart

3) Dearthair (name pending, still have to talk it over with the whole band)

I am excited for these recording because once we finish them we will have an entire E.P.! HOT DOG!

Beneath was written primarily by Claire, and it's essentially about our distaste for shallow bitches, and too hard core douches.  That's my perspective on the song.

Crippled Heart- self explanatory.

Deathair- means brother in Gaelic.  This one's written for my brother obviously, but also has some ties to my grandfather as well.  The song focuses on my reaching out for their guidance throughout life, and teaching me how to live.

House Party

Yo!

So The Danger Bears have been really quite busy lately. We recently set up our very own website (you should be able to click the title of this post to view it!). Claire has been working on putting more information up there, but for now it is still pretty simple.

We played a house party last month that wasAWESOME. Everyone had their party faces on, and the ever entertaining Small Town Nation came and jammed for us as well. The night did end with a broken stage, blacklight, and pair of fakey raybans that I tend to sport for crazy shows.

"It was like a movie, every party should be like the Danger Kegger", Alison Tokar.

(yeah, that's a direct quote)

We also played a show at Ionic Burrito, and got free burritos (which were huge). The manager was a really sweet guy, very friendly. However, right before Claire and I started doing our pre-show coffee house performance, I had to go to the bathroom. Taking longer than expected, I ended up texting Claire to start while I was on the John. That Damn Burrito really threw me for a loop. A bunch of random friends and fans came to support us which was awesome and kind of unexpected because the evening was off the cuff.

This weekend we continue recording! I cannot wait.
